Is The Aluminum Foil Made Of Pure Aluminum? What Is The Substance in The Middle?
The aluminum foil is pure aluminum.
A hot stamping material that is directly calendered into thin sheets with metal aluminum. Its hot stamping effect is similar to that of pure silver foil, so it is also called a fake silver foil. Because aluminum has a soft texture, good ductility, and silver-white luster, if the rolled sheet is mounted on offset paper with sodium silicate and other materials to make the aluminum foil, it can also be printed. However, the aluminum foil itself is easy to oxidize and the color becomes dark, and it will fade when rubbed or touched, so it is not suitable for hot stamping of the covers of books and periodicals that have been stored for a long time.
Aluminum foil paper is not pure aluminum for the following reasons:
1. The surface of aluminum foil paper is a layer of aluminum oxide. The surface of aluminum is oxidized by air to form a dense aluminum oxide film. This dense aluminum oxide film prevents further oxidation of aluminum.
2. Aluminum foil paper is a paper made of aluminum foil backing paper and aluminum foil pasting and bonding. Aluminum foil backing paper is made of compounding paper and aluminum foil with adhesive, so the main components are paper, aluminum, and adhesive.
[Aluminum foil paper] is a thin sheet with a thickness of less than 0.2mm processed by an aluminum foil rolling mill. The foil paper is soft and easily deformed, like paper, and does not rebound after deformation. It can be qualitatively guaranteed to shading, will not fall, opaque, pollution-free, and inexpensive. It is used for moisture-proof and decorative packaging of high-grade cigarettes, candy, and other foods.
